You’ve probably already seen this one running around the blogosphere, but I thought it important enough to repeat it if you haven’t already seen it.
The Maine Web Report is being sued for defamation of character, libel and other various and sundries. Having read the lawsuit, there are many arguments that the advertising company’s lawyers are going to have a hard time sticking to the MWR.
Good luck to you MWR, I think you have a good case and I hope you will be able to set a legal precedent that protects bloggers in your state from frivolous lawsuits such as this one.
